  • Yes. AIM Charter School is a tuition-free public charter school in Georgia. We will be open to all eligible students within the defined attendance and do not charge any fees for enrollment or attendance.

  • Public charter schools are publicly funded schools that operate independently of the traditional school district model. Like all public schools, they are tuition-free, open to all students, and held accountable for academic performance and student outcomes.

  • Enrollment is open to all students in our defined attendance zone: Atlanta Public Schools, Fulton County, Dekalb County, Cobb County and Clayton County.

    If the number of applications exceeds available seats, we will use a random selection lottery process in accordance with Georgia charter school law to ensure fairness.

  • AIM Charter School is proposed to serve students in the city of Atlanta,accessible to Grady Hospital so that our students can easily get to their clinical experiences in high school. Our primary location will be announced soon.

  • Dual enrollment allows high school students to take college courses and earn both high school and college credit at the same time. At AIM, all students will benefit from dual enrollment opportunities through partnerships with colleges and healthcare institutions.

  • Accelerated Career Diploma offers qualified students a unique path to high school graduation. Students choose to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and a college Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or two (2) Technical Certificates of Credit (TCC’s) through a Technical in a specific career pathway.

    Some of the required high school courses may be taken under the state-funded Dual Enrollment program. AIM’s version integrates health sciences to prepare all students for high-demand careers in healthcare.

  • AIM was designed in partnership with healthcare leaders like Grady Health System to respond to the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals. Research project that by 2030, the same year that our first cohort graduates from AIM there will be approximately 100,000 healthcare job vacancies. 

    Our curriculum prepares students for real-world pathways in medicine, nursing, biotech, public health, and more—starting as early as middle school.
