Building Real Pathways into Healthcare
FROM CLASSROOM TO CLINIC
Explore. Learn more. Apply to AIM.
The pathway begins earlier than most imagine — and it begins here.
What does learning look like when school is connected to real careers and real people?
At the Academy for Innovation in Medicine (AIM), learning does not stop at the classroom door. Through our partnership with Grady Health System, students begin exploring healthcare early, building skills over time, and gaining real insight into what it means to work in healthcare.
This approach is called Career Connected Learning, and it is designed to help students grow with confidence — without being rushed or boxed into a single path.
For families, this means your child is supported in discovering what interests them, developing practical skills, and graduating with options they can actually use.
Students are supported in exploring healthcare — they are not locked into a single path.
What Is Career Connected Learning?
Career Connected Learning connects strong academics with real-world experience, so students understand why what they are learning matters.
At AIM, Career Connected Learning includes:
Rigorous core academics aligned to healthcare careers
Hands-on experiences and simulations
Mentorship from healthcare professionals
Early credentials and college coursework
Clear pathways into the healthcare workforce or continued education
The AIM x Grady Student Journey
