AIM Programs

LEARN ABOUT

  • The Academy for Innovation in Medicine (AIM) is an innovative public STEMM school opening fall of 2026 for students in 6th and 9th grade and growing to 6th through 12th grade over the next four years.

  • Through a unique partnership with Grady Health System, AIM provides students with rigorous academic preparation grounded in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine, while offering authentic exposure to healthcare careers and real-world applications of learning.

  • Through this partnership, AIM students engage in experiential learning opportunities that connect classroom instruction to clinical, research, and community-based medical environments.

Our School Model is EPIC, just like our students!

At AIM, learning isn’t something that happens to students—it’s something they do. Our EPIC model helps students build real skills, explore healthcare careers, and grow into confident leaders.

  • Our students learn by doing. Students spend time daily in labs, simulations, and hands-on projects that make learning real—so they don’t just memorize information, they practice it.

  • Our students solve real-world problems every day. Students tackle challenges connected to healthcare, science, and their community by asking questions, conducting research, thinking critically, and designing solutions—just like real professionals do.

  • Each student’s learning and future are personal. At AIM, students have voice and choice in how they learn and in the career path they explore. Whether they are interested in nursing, medical technology, radiology, or heading to medical school, we help them set goals, build a plan, and get the support they need to grow—at their pace.

  • Mastery comes first. Every student has areas of strength and areas where they are still growing, and AIM values the opportunity in both. Students progress when they truly understand the material and can apply it—whether they move quickly to mastery or need more time and support along the way. Students work at their own pace, building confidence, ownership, and real readiness for what’s next.

Portrait of a Graduate
