The wait is almost over! School begins at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29.
For the past two weeks, our incredible teachers and staff have been working tirelessly to prepare for your scholar’s arrival! We are excited to welcome them and begin this historic journey together. Thank you for partnering with us as we launch Georgia's first and only STEMM middle and high school focused on healthcare.
Family Readiness Checklist
Before your scholar's first day of school, please make sure you have:
☐ Activated your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account
☐ Reviewed your scholar's transportation plan (Car Rider or MARTA)
☐ Reviewed Jump Start Orientation Week information
☐ Reviewed the Week One dress code

Homeroom Assignments
When students arrive on the first day of school, they should report directly to their 1st Period Clinical Advisory. Room assignments will be posted throughout the building, and AIM team members will be stationed throughout the school to greet students and help them find their classrooms. We are committed to ensuring every student has a smooth and welcoming start to the school year.
Course Overviews
We encourage you to review these course overviews to learn more about what your student will experience and achieve this year at AIM. These overviews provide a snapshot of each course, including key concepts, learning goals, and exciting opportunities that will help prepare students for success in school and beyond.
At AIM, we teach the Georgia Standards of Excellence, just like every public school in Georgia. What makes AIM unique is how we teach those standards. Through engaging, hands-on, healthcare-connected learning experiences, students apply their knowledge to authentic challenges, explore real-world careers, and develop the skills needed to become the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Jump Start Orientation Week
Our first three days of school are Jump Start Orientation Week, an exciting experience designed to help students learn the AIM Way, build new friendships, understand what it means to be an AIM scholar, and begin exploring our unique healthcare-focused learning model. Students will also have opportunities to get to know Grady Health System and many of our other community partners.
If your student does not yet have an AIM academic polo, a plain navy polo is acceptable during the first few weeks of school.
We will work to ensure every student receives any missing uniform items upon arrival on Wednesday.

Stay connected to your scholar's daily progress and academic success by setting up your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account today. Infinite Campus serves as your primary hub for AIM Georgia, where all key information and important actions for your scholar—including viewing grades, tracking attendance, monitoring assignments, and receiving school updates—will be managed in one convenient place.
Setting up your account takes just a moment, but you will need a personalized activation key to log in for the first time. Please contact Malik Morrow at MMorrow@aimgeorgia.org to receive your family's unique activation key, and then complete your account registration online or through the Infinite Campus mobile app to stay fully engaged in your scholar's education.

CAR RIDERS
Morning Drop-Off
Students may be dropped off as early as 7:00 a.m. Staff supervision will be provided, and breakfast will be available for purchase until 7:45 a.m.
All parent drop-off takes place behind the school on Magnolia Lane. Please review this video before the first day of school.
Map & Route
To help traffic flow safely and efficiently:
Approach the school by traveling down Morosgo Drive or Lindbergh Drive, then turn onto Main Street.
Turn left onto Magnolia Lane to enter the car rider line.
Form one single line, staying as far to the right as possible.
If traffic is moving, please pull all the way forward to the stop sign before allowing your scholar to exit the vehicle.
Students should exit on the passenger side and enter the building promptly.
After dropping off your scholar, exit the car rider lane by turning left onto Morosgo Drive. This traffic pattern helps prevent backups onto Piedmont Road.

Afternoon Pick-Up
Afternoon pick-up is from 3:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Please do not arrive before 3:20 p.m., as we cannot allow vehicles to block traffic on surrounding streets.
Pick-up also takes place behind the school on Magnolia Lane. Following the established traffic pattern will help ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for all families.
AIM/MARTA Commuter Program
How the Program Works
The AIM Commuter Program is completely optional. Families decide whether MARTA is the right transportation choice for their child. Parent volunteers serve as MARTA Monitors at designated end stations each morning and afternoon. Students check in with the monitor, ride together in the first train car, and walk directly to school as a group upon arriving at Lindbergh Station. Parents are encouraged to ride with their scholar for the first couple of days to ensure they understand the procedure.
The same process is followed in reverse after school. Parents are responsible for ensuring students arrive at their departure station on time in the morning and are picked up promptly in the afternoon.
Morning and Afternoon Service
This year, AIM will have commuter monitors serving several key MARTA stations, including College Park, H.E. Holmes, Indian Creek, North Springs, and Doraville. Detailed departure and arrival schedules are below to ensure students arrive at school before the start of the day and return safely to their home stations each afternoon.

Our commuter program would not be possible without our incredible parent volunteers who generously give their time each day to support our students. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to helping make transportation safer and more accessible for AIM families. Additional volunteers are always welcome as our commuter program continues to grow.
Safety First
Student safety is our highest priority. Families are encouraged to download the free MARTA See & Say app, which allows riders to report safety concerns directly to MARTA Police. Students should also become familiar with MARTA's Ride with Respect campaign and other rider resources before the first day of school.
Discounted Student MARTA Cards
Students may purchase discounted monthly MARTA passes through Infinite Campus. Payment options should now be available. The student pass costs $60 per month (plus applicable fees) and provides up to 10 trips each week, averaging approximately $1.50 per trip.
How to Purchase a Student MARTA Card
Log in to the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.
Click School Store in the left navigation menu.
Select Transportation.
Choose either the Monthly Unlimited Pass or the 10-Trip Pass.
Select the student who will be using the pass.
Add the pass to your cart and proceed to checkout.
Scholarships are available by completing this form for families who need financial assistance.
Managing your scholar's school meals is fast and easy through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal!
Because scholars must have a pre-paid account to purchase meals at school, families are required to set up their accounts and add funds online before the school day begins. Meal prices are set at $2.90 for breakfast, $5.50 for lunch, and $7.20 for adult meals. By making payments directly through Infinite Campus, you can quickly top off your scholar's balance, track their meal history, and ensure they are always fueled up and ready to learn without any hassle in the cafeteria line! Lunch Benefits
We are currently awaiting our official approval to participate in the National School Lunch Program, which will allow eligible families to receive free or reduced-price meals. While that approval is pending, AIM remains committed to ensuring that no student goes hungry. We will honor demonstrated family need during this interim period. If needed, please complete this Temporary Meal Benefit Form.
If your student has a medically documented food allergy or requires a meal accommodation, please complete the official Medical Statement for Meal Modification form available through the school.

In accordance with Georgia law and AIM policy, students
may bring cell phones to school, but they must remain
turned off and stored in their backpacks throughout
the entire school day.
To help create a focused, distraction-free learning environment, cell phones may not be out or in use at any time during the school day, including during class changes, lunch, or other school activities, unless specifically authorized by school administration for an emergency or approved educational purpose.
Any cell phone that is seen outside of a student's backpack will be held in the front office until the end of the school day, where it may be picked up by the student.
Thank you for partnering with us to support this important expectation. By minimizing distractions, we can maximize learning, strengthen relationships, and ensure our scholars are fully engaged throughout the school day.
Math N’ More
If you have not already done so, we kindly ask that you complete the Parent Interest Survey. Your responses play an important role in helping Math N’ More plan for the upcoming school year by understanding family interest and ensuring they have the appropriate staffing and resources in place.
The information you provide will help them prepare for enrollment and provide the best possible experience for scholars and families.
Official enrollment for the Math N’ More program will open on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. (EST) on Math N’ More’s website. During enrollment, families will be able to:

Soccer in the Streets
Our soccer program will be offered through Soccer in the Streets. We anticipate registration opening in late July or early August, with the season beginning around September. Registration will be completed through the PlayMetrics app. Families will need a registration link from Soccer in the Streets to create an account and register. As soon as we receive that information from Soccer in The Streets, we will share it with all AIM families, along with step-by-step registration instructions. Visit their website for more information.
Although the schedule is not yet finalized, you can expect practices to run from 5-8 pm, Monday - Thursday, with all kids receiving an hour of practice twice a week. Practices are divided by gender and age group (for example, U12 Girls may practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, while U10 Boys may practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays).
We will keep families updated as additional information becomes available from Soccer in the Streets.

We understand that school starts soon and families are still enrolling! We are happy you are here! If for any reason, your student does not have the academic polo, a regular navy blue polo will be an acceptable option until all students have received their uniform shirts.
As families prepare for the new school year, we wanted to share a quick update about backpacks.
At the Academy for Innovation in Medicine, students may use either a clear backpack or a standard backpack. Clear backpacks are welcome, but they are not required.
Many of our scholars travel to school in different ways, including by MARTA, so we want families to choose the backpack that best meets their student's needs while safely transporting school supplies and their electronics.
To help maintain a safe learning environment, AIM reserves the right to inspect backpacks and other bags as needed in accordance with school policy.
We encourage families to select a sturdy backpack that is comfortable, appropriately sized, and provides adequate protection for your scholar's electronic and daily materials.

This new schedule will give families plenty of time to review important announcements, upcoming events, reminders, and key information before the start of each school week.
